Archway Contracting

  This customer came to Archway Contracting with a tile shower in their master bathroom that was leaking into the ceiling on the level below.  The tile floor in the main area of the bathroom had a long crack through it. 

  Archway Contracting came in and removed all the existing tile.  The homeowner chose to add additional support to the floor joists before we proceeded with the tile installation.

About the Project

  The original ceramic tile was white with a little beige tint to it, and looked extremely outdated.  The homeowner chose a ceramic that exhibited colors of natural limestone. 

  Travertine natural stone was chosen to be used in the accent strip, which was 3 - 1" tiles surrounded by two pencil pieces.

  This combination of tiles blended together for an excellent finished product.  By using the ceramic, cost was reduced from using all natural stone. 

  The stone accent strip becomes the focus of the shower and tub surround.

More Information

  The tile on the walls was a 9" x 18" ceramic that was installed horizontally at a brick pattern. 

  This look created a simple design that wasn't excessive, but at the same time, adds a distinction between the floor pattern.
