One of the easiest remodeling projects is to install a tile kitchen back-splash.  The process is quick and relatively inexpensive.

Tiling a kitchen back-splash is an easy project for a professional to complete.  Typically, this can be done in 1-2 days depending on the installer's technique and experience. 

Design is an important part to consider with a back-splash, because it is visible by almost every person in the house.

Back-splash designs can be very simple or intricate depending on the homeowner's preferences.  One easy way to spice up the design is to run a horizontal accent strip halfway between the counter and the cabinets.

 Another great way to incorporate design is to add a special section above the oven where there is typically more space than the rest of the back-splash.  The pictures above show examples of this.
